Cleaning and Maintenance Instructions

Preserve the product in an airy place and under the shadow, far from heat sources. Keep the product in a breathable case (i.e. pierced nylon bag). Don’t wash in washing machine or with high pressure air or water.

SOLE

Clean the sole with a stiff bristle brush, moistened in water to remove residues of dust, mud and any type of dirt.

LEATHER

Gently clean the skin with a soft bristle brush, moistened in water to remove residues of dust, mud and any type of dirt. Dry with a soft cloth.

Remove any residue from the skin with cleansing milk. The suitable cleansing milk is the one used for cleansing the face and must be distributed with a soft cloth and circular movements.

Apply the natural beeswax cream on the skin with a soft cloth and circular movements.

Only if necessary due to evident abrasions of the leather, use a non-greasy cream, black or brown depending on the colour of the boots. Spread the cream with a soft cloth and circular movements;

let it air dry, not near heat sources or direct sun light.

Polish the boots with a wool cloth.

CLOSETEX

Clean the CloseTex part with a damp sponge with water and Marseille soap. Let it air dry, not near heat sources or direct sun light.

HOLE

Take particular care to clean the hole placed behind the heel; it’s necessary to remove any soil or sand with a toothpick, so as to ensure the proper functioning of air exchange inside the boot.

ZIPPER

Most zip breaks are caused from hair, dust and dirt run between the teeth of the guides: carefully remove any residual hair, dust and dirt with the use of tweezers and brushes. Kindly proceed with clearing thoroughly with brush and water as to remove any dirt.

Use a silicone spray or pencil tip graphite to maintain correct functionality of the slider on the teeth;

ELASTIC BAND

Do not use the leather care products on the elastic, as they would permanently damage the elastic fiber.

Failure to comply these instructions or the improper use of the product can lead to a premature and irregular usury and, consequently,  to a malfunction of the article itself.
